This studio animates the daily life of immortal king S3 (ASK studio). Link click = LAN studio, spare me great lord = Big Fire Bird studio, mo dao zhu shi = BC May, rakshasa street = L2 studio, biao ren = colored pencil. First time watch animation work from this studio

LesK • 1 year ago

your terminology is incorrect. in the situations you listed, bilibili is the PRODUCER not a studio.

Testarossa • 1 year ago

Facts everytime I hear the song and the intro I just knew the studio

LesK • 1 year ago

ah, bilibili is not exactly a studio. they're a production company. yes, they do have an individual studio they operate. but this time they're just paying the bills for the actual studios animating this show.

Endie Rue • 1 year ago

Bilibili?!!! Chinese version of Guardian Tales (game) was published by them. I'm really hoping they adapt an animated series of the game coz it's storyline was just so gooood!

OfficialDrixMalone • 2 years ago

Wow, reminds me of "Platinum End" but is the proper version that it should've been like aha. Hopefully this stays on a good course and is not only meets my expectations but beyond it.

Almost all Japanese anime have a 90 second OP that it has become a standard. It is weird seing a 2:20 OP (I know it's chinese)

LesK • 1 year ago

the problem with that assumption is, most donghua aren't 24 minutes long like anime are. most donghua are produced today in online only formats. ONAs as we anime folks know them. donghua are made to be consumed on the go, using mobile devices, not broadcast on TV like Japan does. therefore the episodes are MUCH shorter.

this episode surprised me because if you subtract the bilibili studio bump, the ASK Animation Studio bump, and whatever that text was after that... the episode loses 20 seconds... which brings it down to... 24m 44s. that's slightly longer than an anime episode.

Kugalagupagus • 2 years ago

I would prefer to watch it dubbed than in the original sound...
For me it sound so bad witch Chinese dialog... sorry...

OfficialDrixMalone • 2 years ago

Did you apologize because you know how ignorant you sounded commenting that the original versions VA in Chinese is "bad" smh??

So hopefully there isn't a dubbed version anytime soon so you miss out on this treat 🤷🏾‍♂️, disrespectful pricks shouldn't be rewarded. You probably think Japanese is easier to digest and want a Japanese dub too huh lol...

FateStayBite • 1 year ago

He isnt wrong. It takes an incredibly long time to adjust to chinese after years of japanese content. Even more so because it has a tonality that most western languages and japanese do not. Its inherently unpleasant to a native English speaker the same way Russian, Arabic, or Hungarian are. And that lengthy sound-adjustment period detracts from the story the creator was trying to convey.
.
.
It took a series as good as king's avatar to finally get me to cross the chinese hurdle. Since then, ive seen more than a dozen chinese series, and i still find it a bit off putting.

LesK • 1 year ago

wow. gatekeeper much? he expressed his preference. so what? not everybody that watches anime from Japan enjoys the Mandarin used in donghua from China. i personally can't stand Mandarin either. i'm not used to it. it always sounds like they're spitting and sheshhing and i don't get how Mandarin speakers aren't spraying everybody around them with drool.

but i've still watched around 20 donghua titles from my first one 'Fox Spirit Matchmaker' to 'Daily Life of the Immortal King' most recent season. some of them are good. some suck. shrug.

i've been watching anime from Japan since 1990. the year, the physical year in this universe, not the TV shows from back then online today. i didn't find many donghua in the US back then. as a matter of fact, China's animation industry was almost non-existent back then. China was outsourcing work they wanted done on 'stuff' to South Korea, Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand etc. now, 40 years later, China has a thriving animation industry and they're the ones accepting jobs from outside requests.

China's animation industry is a shit-ton younger and less experienced than Japan's. heck, Japan's animation got a huge kick in the ass from good ol Walt Disney himself after WW2. Disney spent a large amount of time and money, inviting Japanese artists and such to work with him and his teams and learn and grow as artists and filmmakers. so when folks compare donghua and anime it isn't a surprise to see there's problems in China where they're still behind Japan.

you yourself were a disrespectful prick. you didn't respect his right to an opinion or a preference. so. how's about this one. something you love and enjoy and cherish will be taken from you. karma works like that ya know. you shouldn't be rewarded for your behavior either. you should receive divine punishment equivalent to the harm you wished upon that other person.

Pride Acedia • 1 year ago

Yikes people are allowed to not like the sound of certain languages. I aint got shit against china and am more frequently annoyed at the level of anti china propaganda i am subject to but yes hearing it in chinese sounds off and its distracting me as well.
